Motivational Music Monday

 During moments of not understanding God's plan, my go-to song is Lauren Daigle's TRUST IN YOU. It's one of those songs that has just the right lyrics, laid out in just the right way, to explain what my heart is feeling.

“When You don’t move the mountains I’m needing You to move
When You don’t part the waters I wish I could walk through
When You don’t give the answers as I cry out to You
I will trust, I will trust, I will trust in You!

Truth is, You know what tomorrow brings
There’s not a day ahead You have not seen
So, in all things be my life and breath
I want what You want Lord and nothing less”

I mean, how cool is it that He knows what tomorrow brings. He is strategically planning out every step, every detail, every breath - all so we don't have to be burdened by it all.  His plans are more grand than we could ever dream of.

I know all of this in my heart, yet I fail to lean into this truth in practice. Instead I get frustrated when he doesn't "move the mountains I (need) Him to move." I feel let down when He doesn't "part the waters I wish I could walk though."

I'm determined to change my mindset today. I encourage you to move through your day today, along with me, trusting HIM. Finding strength and comfort in His steady hand.
